| Projects and Campaigns - 100% renewable energy |
|
BREAZE will be joining in with groups all over Australia on Saturday, May 28th to doorknock local residents and talk with them about a renewable energy future. It's part of the 100% Renewables 20,000 Conversations campaign which will make it clear to our politicians just how much people support renewable energy. In Ballarat we've been out over the last couple of months collecting hundreds of surveys. We've been at markets, information sessions and knocking on people's doors. Overwhelmingly, people are telling us they support renewable energy and want to see the government doing more. We're well on the way to reach our target of 1000 surveys to take to Catherine King to show her the depth of support for renewable energy in her electorate. Can you help us get to our target of 1000 surveys in Ballarat? Mark down 1.30pm-4pm, Saturday 28th May in your diary and get ready to join an eager band for an afternoon of doorknocking fun! If you don't believe me, watch the video above of people doorknocking in Newtown, Sydney. We'll be retiring for a friendly drink afterwards to compare notes on how each other went.
