What is the ‘National Solar in Schools (NSiS) program?

The Commonwealth Government is offering non-competitive grants of up to $50,000 to every primary and secondary school in Australia (government and non-government) for the installation of a range of emissions reduction technologies in order to address climate change.

Napoleons Primary School has worked with BREAZE to install a 4.9kW solar electricity system, which on average will produce 6,500kW hours of electricity per annum.

REAL, LIVE INSTALLATIONS!

We wanted to convey our excitement that after such a long wait, BREAZE has begun installations at our first 10 schools that have recently received their NSSP funding (yes, it actually exists!). Photos of the installations at Ararat Community College (4.2 kW + tanks) and Napoleons (4.9 kW) are in inset below. Dennis Higgins at Ararat and Trevor Edwards at Napoleons are both ecstatic that their wait is over and that they now have experienced the fruit of our collective labours.
