| How to add an Event to our Calendar |

Step 1: Log in (If you need assistance with your login details, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) Step 2: Go to the Calendar, and click on the "Add an Event" at the bottom of the page (see image below).
Add the details of your event - make sure you hit the SAVE button up the top! How to copy and paste MS WORD(detailed instructions to come - meanwhile DO NOT PASTE STRAIGHT FROM WORD - You can copy from a simple text editor like Notepad, and add in any further editing in the web screen.) See Your Event:
Set these options to show unpublished events and your events, and you can see what your addition will look like.
Edit Your Event:
Once you have hit the Save button, you can go back and edit your own events, if they are not yet approved. Just change the two options (shown on the left) to Yes, and your unpublished event will show up. You can then click on your event, and then click on the Edit Icon (a small yellow pen in the Right Hand corner). Make your changes or additions, and remember to hit Save!
If you are an Authorised Calendar Editor, your event will be on the Calendar immediately. A Volunteer Moderator will check the details, and approve your event. Contact the Moderator if you need to inform them of any other details regarding your event. |
